A human-size Malagasy Company
With one year of official opening, FAR Madagascar is proudly a 100% Malagasy local company, driven by a passion to unveil the authentic treasures and beauty of Madagascar.
Our story
Founded by Farahery, whose name was abbreviated to « FAR » adopted by foreigners for ease of pronunciation, with the aim to bridge the perceived distance of Madagascar, making its wonders accessible to guests.
What we are about
Our founder
My journey in tourism industry began in 2017, evolving from trainee to travel designer and tour guide by 2019.
After a period into IT fields during the challenging times of 2020, I returned progressively to my passion in 2023, reigniting my connection with Madagascar’s unique biodiversity and culture.
A returning group in 2024 inspired the launch of FAR Madagascar in 2025, allowing me to share my vision of authentic Malagasy adventures.
Our Agile Model
At FAR Madagascar, we combine core leadership with a trusted network of specialized providers to ensure every guest experiences an exceptional, high-quality journey. We bring together the best expertise for every project, scaling our team based on our customer specific needs.
Personal touch
We are aware that being a small company could be seen as a weakness. It may frighten guests away from booking tours with us. However, we are convinced, that this size is our strength, as it allows us to provide our guests with a more human touch and personalized care. Unlike ‘one-size-fits-all’ corporate packages, we take care of our guests’real needs before and especially during the tour.
At FAR Madagascar, beyond tourism as a business, we perceived travel as a part of people’s history. Especially, visiting Madagascar – is a lifetime experience. Beyond business and professionalism, we are your « far » friend in Madagascar.
